The Smithtown Green Team is excited to participate, along with the SCSD community, in Earth Week, beginning today, April 21. Students and staff are coming together to promote environmental awareness through a variety of fun and educational activities, including a “plastic free” lunch on Tuesday, April 22 in honor of Earth Day. All cafeterias will be plastic free, thanks to Jeannette Frabizio, the head of child nutrition. Join us in this great initiative as well if your child brings lunch from home.
