Each year, the SCOPE Education Service Award dinner is held to honor recipients chosen based on exemplary records that shine brightly as educational excellence models.
This year, Smithtown CSD honored Cathy Quinn (Secretary to the Superintendent), Ron Parmegiani (Nesaquake ELA and mathematics teacher), and Kevin Colon (Administrator for Guidance and Related Services).
The annual event was part of SCOPE’s celebration of more than 50 years of serving children and their families and an opportunity to recognize 172 individuals for their extraordinary contributions and dedication during the 2024-2025 school year.
